Many of my clients are having dreams that deal with snakes. This freaks a lot of people out since snakes do not have good PR.
Having been raised in Africa where most snakes were deadly poison, I grew up terrified with them. As I learned more about them in United States, I determined to overcome my fear of them. Historically snakes are a symbol of the Feminine. They are associated with the Goddess ways. The kundalini (sexual energy weaving up through the chakras) are represented a serpents. This is shown in the pictures in modern medicine of the caduceus. The tail of the snakes is at the bottom and the heads at the top. Many times it is superimposed over a person’s body like the picture here. Isn’t it interesting that at the top of the caduceus there are wings?
Modern medicine has roots going back to the beginning of time…the time when angels were actively trying to help mankind move ahead with civilization. Much of this is mentioned in the beginning of Angel Whispers, A Journey Into the World of the Earth’s Oldest Guardians.
Also, angels will present themselves to us in ways we can understand. For those who work with totems, angels will take the form of totems, spiritually and physically, so we are able to hear the messages they have for us. This too is spoken about in Angel Whispers.
Here is one dream a client had: “I dreamt I was catching Pythons. Then this old boyfriend is in the picture and I lose sight of what I want and a python bites my left wrist.”
This is a very cool dream. It shows the woman following after the Divine Feminine Power within herself. Pythons are huge and extremely strong. They crush, then swallow their prey. She has been following a spiritual path bringing in the energy of Archangel Anael, whose power can infuse a person with extreme strength and protection. Her energy merges with a person that works with her (swallowing) allowing them to have her power.
When this lady let her focus go off her path to one of the mundane world (old boyfriend), then the python bit her wrist. It was the python (feminine Divine) strongly getting her attention. The left wrist because that is usually where a person pulls in power. Sometimes spirit has to be strong with us to get our attention.
The message in this dream was…don’t lose your focus and worry about relationships with others around you (not just romantic ones, others, too) Stay on the path of the Feminine Divine to access your full power!
Another dream of another client dealt with snakes that were black and white…also a lot of small ones. This is about bringing in balance of the Feminine Power in her life. The small ones represent teaching others eventually about their own power and balance.
So, Dear Ones, when you have snake dreams…yea, you! Wonderful things coming up for you. Yes, transformations is also a part of it, as snakes shed their skin…but there is great power coming your way!
