Imperfect Progress

If you wait for conditions to be perfect, you will never get anything started. You don't have to be perfect, just show up everyday and to your best with the highest of intentions.
Novels aren't written by perfect people. Just ones who are willing to pick up a pen and write.
If your steps are small, that's okay, just keep moving. When you push through the inertia that has held you back, you will find that things begin to flow effortlessly.

Take that first step today, then another tomorrow......and another........

Letting Go of Perfection

You are not expected to be perfect. If you forgot to do something or ran out of time, simply say when asked, "I didn't do it." Do not make excuses. Excuses do not absolve you of responsibility, they instead, take your power away.

If you acted irresponsibly, or made a mistake, this can be remedied. Do not add to the problem by giving away your power. Use your mistakes as a platform for new learning and move forward.

You will find that others will respect you more if you live your life this way. Ask for the angels to help you if you feel lost. They will always answer you and show you the way.

ILLUSIONS

Food for thought from Rev. Sue Bailey’s talk at the POD this morning….

Instead of trying to do more to be a better person…recognize ALL is perfection.

Let go of the illusions that you have created of what you think is perfect.

How would you feel if you let go of that thought?

How would you relate to others if you no longer held those beliefs?
