PERIGEE FULL MOON

Perigee refers to the fact the moon is closest to the earth's orbit. Hence it may appear larger than normal in the sky. It's affects are larger than normal also.

This full moon has already made its effect known. Many have ridden the waves of emotion this past week, all the while wondering why they are so tired!

Yesterday, I honored those feelings. Though there was a gathering of my friends that I wanted to attend, my body said, “Stay home, put your feet up and do nothing!”

I have learned from the proverbial 2 X 4 over the head to listen. (Actually in the past, I pushed it enough that Spirit got out a Lead Pipe! Lol!) Not wanting to go through any challenges (or headaches, Lol!), I rested last night and slept well.

This full moon is about searching within to uncover the deepest desire buried within our very core. It is time to rearrange or even reinvent some part of our lives to allow us to follow the longings hidden in our souls.

We must take the time to recognize what is holding us back, feel those emotions, and totally surrender them to the Divine within us. There is Shadow Work involved here. We have to look at the dark sides of ourselves. Bring to the surface those parts of ourselves that we have mirrored onto others that we don’t like. Look at the part we have played in creating drama with those around us.

We must recognize those parts of ourselves, so that we can transform completely. This allows us to let go and completely release these patterns in our lives. Only by doing so can we release the hold these inner issues have on us.

Doing this will allow us to claim our place in our Divine Blueprint. This is our birthright!
