Being raised in Africa as a child of missionary parents has caused me to become a Queen of innovation and creativity. I love the challenge of taking bits and pieces of things and making them into something useful. The picture of this dog brought this to my mind. He had been wandering looking for a place to snooze. A large soft dog bed might have been what he was looking for. However, when he spied this garden container, he decided it would do perfectly for a nap. It held him, though barely, and made him feel snug, so it worked.
Sometimes we ask the Divine to bring what we want in our life. We are very specific…which is always a good idea….but then the Divine sends us something else.
How many times have we walked past the gift sent from Divine, just because it didn’t fit our specifications? If we would stop, look a little deeper, perhaps only with a little tweaking or maybe none at all, it would be a perfect fit!
