A story was shared today at The New Way. The story goes like this…. A lady decided to clean the water in the fishbowl. She took her fish and put them in a bathtub filled with good water.
When the fishbowl was cleaned, she went to retrieve her fish. She was surprised to see them swimming in the same small circle as if they were still in the bowl. With the whole bathtub in which to swim they decided to stay within their own boundaries. They didn’t take the advantage to enjoy the new space.
This gives us much to think about. How many times are we offered new opportunities in our lives, but we choose to swim in the small circles that we have been used to?
Take some time and look at the oceans of possibilities in front of you. Allow yourself to change your pattern of thinking so you can swim free!
