Mercury retrograde has arrived!
The common practice is to
panic, cancel all events and stay in the house. Although, this can be a
difficult time, this is, simply, not necessary.
From a spiritual point of view,
Mercury retrograde is like taking a nap.
It is a time to stop moving
forward and take a look at where you are now. It is a time to evaluate what you
have done. To make the decision to keep some things, (physical objects, career
path, relationships, etc.) and discard and release others.
If you do this successfully,
then you will exit Mercury retrograde with a clear head and free of excess
emotional baggage that was holding you back.
In the physical world, it is a
good idea to back up computers, double check communications such as phone
messages and e-mails, and be mindful of the words that you use in your verbal
communications.
As Valentine’s Day falls during
this period, it is also a good time to look at romantic relationships, letting
go of what is holding you back from finding the love you seek. If you are in a
relationship, mind your communications. Speak carefully and filter your words
through your heart.
When times get rough, just
remember the three R’s of Mercury retrograde: Relax, Restore and Release.
