Every angel has a symbol. This is Archangel Anael's and and explanation of it. Because of what it means and it's association with her and the Divine, it carries amazing energy.

The circle in the middle represents the individual. The circle outside of it is the community around the individual. The points of the star that go straight up, down and to either side represent the four directions (north, east, south and west) and those people associated with each direction. The other four points represent the four elements of the earth: air, water, fire and earth. The outer circle is the Divine Spirit that unites all. It is surrounded by the wings of an Angel who are the helpers of the Divine.
