Let It Go


You don't have to pretend that negative things don't happen. The secret is not to dwell on them. Every day is different. Every day is a fresh start. You can talk about something bad that has happened, but think of it as release. Like lancing an infected area. Once the yucky stuff has been drained, you don't want to keep cutting. Give yourself permission to talk about it, three times at the most, then let it go. If you cling tightly to three day old leftovers, you might miss the gourmet meal that is sitting on the table.
