Tending Your Garden

If you planted a garden, would you cry each time a flower died and dropped to the ground? Of course not. That is the normal cycle of plant growth. An ending opens the door to a new beginning. You would not stop caring for the plant because of the death of one flower, yet disappointments, setbacks and endings in life can bring about depression and apathy.

To make way for glorious new growth, the old must naturally drop away to make room for the new. Give thanks for the "flowers" that drop out of your life. They brought beauty and joy at one time and their absence will allow even more to come into your life.

Just keep watering.

Telling a New Story

If you are offended by the religious dogmas and traditions of your youth, then transform the old stories into new, positive ones.

Think of this holiday, for instance, as a day of renewal, a time to allow the old you to pass away and be reborn in a glorious new form.

Embrace this new energy and know that all things are possible.

Miracles are the norm, and they are attracted to your newer, higher vibration.

Ostara/Easter blessings.

REBIRTH

Today I walked across the street of a busy shopping area to go into a store. In the middle of the road was the flattened body of a large black/silver snake.

Of course, me being me. I stopped and said, “Oh you poor thing. I am sorry you were here and this happened to you. May your spirit go in peace.”

Fortunately I was with a good friend that is in the same vibration as I am, so she sent her energy to help the snake’s spirit release also.

We pondered on the significance of crossing over the body of a snake while we are all in the energy of letting go of old things and bringing in new. Snake medicine is all about this…re-birth and re-new-all. Confirmations are nice.

EQUINOX REBIRTH

The fall equinox (today) is symbolic of spiritual death and rebirth. Go deep within your soul (the waters of creation) to find what you need to release first.

This is not an easy task, as you must look at some areas within yourself that cause you to hold onto old patterns. These old patterns are recreating a familiar energy of conflict and strife around you.

This can be exhibited by relationships in your life, (romantic, friendships and work environment.) that are draining your strength and vitality. When you decide you will be okay when you release these people and situations from your life, then you are on your way to prepare for a beautiful rebirth.

Take some time to write down three things you want to ‘birth’ into your life this season. Knowing this can be accomplished sometimes gives you enough strength to release the old.

Anything you wish is within your grasp. Just let go of the sludge and grab a hold of the hand of the angel waiting to assist you.
