Letting It Go

Before you rush to respond to someone who has made you angry or hurt you. Stop.

Give it at least an hour.


You may re-think things in that time and realize that you are reacting to emotions from your past that the event triggered.

If so, let it go.

If the hurt is real, then protect yourself so that they cannot harm you again, and recognize that you have just given them an hour of your life that you will never get back.

Was it worth the sacrifice of one hour? If the answer is "no" let it go.
