Personal Power vs. Facebook

Does your Facebook newsfeed stress you out? Do people over react to the things you post and cause tension among you and your friends?

This is a wonderful opportunity to exercise your personal power. You are not a victim! You can block, delete or report abuse, but you can also hide people and pages you don't want to see. Or simply, scroll past. Sometimes inaction is the best one.

You are not required to share, re-post or comment on anything. Many political or religious themed links are biased, and Facebook does not give money to help sick children in exchange for "likes."
 
Your Angels work miracles everywhere, even on Facebook. If you need help getting your social media power back, they will be glad to help.

The Power of Responsibility

In any given disagreement or argument, the ego's first step is to place the blame upon the other: "You couldn't help it! It was her fault!"

This outward focus takes away your power. Go back and think, "What could I have done differently?" 

You may not see much that you could change, or the responsibility might fall mostly upon you. Either way, you learn and grow and gain more tools and resources for future interactions with others.

You are not blaming yourself, you are taking responsibility for your own actions. With great responsibility comes great power! Good for you! Remember to wield it wisely!

Power and Protection

In a perfect world, all people would be empowered and no one would try to attack or bully another.

Until we get there, we must protect those who cannot defend themselves, and set good examples of how to use power wisely and compassionately.

 

Don't Worry, Just Smile!

A Gift From Heaven

Sometimes when you ask your Angels for help, you will find challenges coming your way.

The Angels have not abandoned you, they are simply giving you a chance to use the new tools they have given you.

What if you were given ice skates and it never snowed? What if you lived in the desert and were given a surfboard?

It makes no sense to have a new gift and no opportunity to use it.

If you feel fear when you are tested on your new skills (patience, organization,inner peace), call your Angels. They will help you through the process and remind you that you have all you need to do this.

When you master the situation, you gain more personal power. That is the greatest gift of all.
 

For Always

Be mindful  of using the word "always." 

It makes the statement you have just made, absolute, so that you have (or so you imagine), no power to change it. 

"I'm always late, I'm always broke, I'm always wrong," how sad it would be if these statements were true. You have the power to change them. Why then would you cut yourself off from this power with a mere two syllables.

Whatever you have, "always" done, is now your past. Do you want it to be your future? Then keep saying, "always." 

When you get depressed about your life and want to make a change, ask your angels to help you. 

They always will.

Re-writing Your Best Seller

What story do you want to tell with your life? Does your current life reflect that story? If not, call in your Angels and pull out your pen. Re-write your story until you have created a best seller. You have the power!

 When problems arise, think of them as plot twists. Allow your excitement to grow as you imagine the easy solution you will find that will bring you to a happy "chapter" ending. 

You can write as many fun adventures as you want for as long as you are here. You are only here for a limited time. Have some fun with it!

Be the Good Witch

The only power others have over us is that which we give them. 

When someone tries to burst your good energy bubble, wave your invisible wand, like Glinda, and say (silently) "You have no power here!" If your wand goes missing, ask your Angels to retrieve it for you.

You have complete power over your thoughts and emotions. 

If you held a magic wand in your hand, would you hand it over to the person who just cut you off in traffic or scowled at you? 

Don't let someone else's bad day burst your pretty peach bubble. 
 

All Knowledge is Power

All knowledge is power. Mistakes can teach us valuable lessons. Opinions of others that we disagree with can provide us with information that can help us to make our own decisions.

Don't be tempted to run away from information that you don't like or don't want to hear. Let go of the fear and it is only knowledge.

The angels can help clear your mind so that you can sort through the information you receive, then you will know where to shine your light.

Finding Your Power

There is nothing wrong or evil about power. To use power in the right way supports and uplifts those around you. It is only the misuse of power that causes others to be harmed.

You can send healing to those in the news who have been hurt by the wrong use of power, sign petitions and vote your conscience. You can encourage those around you who have been victimized by those in power.

You are a powerful being whether you claim it or not. Why not use it to make the world a better place? You don't even need a superhero cape! 

At Heaven's Gates

When we leave our human bodies, we will quickly learn that things like money, status and power have no meaning.

What will be of concern will be how we helped others, what we did with our talents and the lessons we learned.

Money, status and power were created by fear and cannot follow us into the afterlife.

This does not mean that they are bad things. If you use them to make the world a better place or improve the lives of those around you, your past life review in Heaven will probably go very well.

Do all you can to make the world a better place. Even if it just means smiling at a stranger or calling a friend who needs cheering up.

You have all the tools you need to succeed at the most important interview of your soul's existence. Use them wisely.

The Present of Presence

Are you feeling worried or unappreciated? Give yourself a present. THE Present. This moment, right now. The future that worries you has no power here. The past that haunts you cannot survive for long here. This is your place of power, this is where you can act.

Don't exhaust yourself trying to do everything right now, but if there is something you can do, then do it! If you don't have time, what do you need to do to make time?

If nothing else, stop a minute. Take a breath. Feel your blood flowing through your veins, the air passing through your lungs, feel your connection to the Divine. Give yourself this "present" several times a day. Soon, you will not want to be anywhere else and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.

Reclaim Your Power

New Moon Equinox

If you've been feeling emotional lately, there's a very good reason. On Friday, we have a new moon which falls on the same day as a solar eclipse and the Spring Equinox. The moon is a "super moon" which means that it is extremely close to the Earth.
The same power which causes emotional upheaval can also bring about amazing changes and transformations.
Rather than remaining in a fearful, over-emotional state, you can take action and harness this powerful time to improve your life.

The Power of Ideas

Letting Go of Perfection

You are not expected to be perfect. If you forgot to do something or ran out of time, simply say when asked, "I didn't do it." Do not make excuses. Excuses do not absolve you of responsibility, they instead, take your power away.

If you acted irresponsibly, or made a mistake, this can be remedied. Do not add to the problem by giving away your power. Use your mistakes as a platform for new learning and move forward.

You will find that others will respect you more if you live your life this way. Ask for the angels to help you if you feel lost. They will always answer you and show you the way.

Into the Darkness

Do not fear the dark. Some of the most amazing treasures have been found in caves,attics and under the sea. Your own light will illuminate your path and your Angels will guide you safely to your destination.

The Power of Words

Words are like feathers in the wind. Be careful what you say...you may find it hard to repair the damage...and that damage always extends to the one who did the damage....

In youth, we were told that "sticks and stones can break bones, but words can never hurt,"
As we grow older and heal the wounds of the past, we learn that this is not so. They can do a great deal of damage if used for malicious purposes or, simply, said in anger or pain. 

Mind your words that they will do no harm. The angels can shield you from the harmful words of others. They are happy to do it if you ask them.

Accepting Your Power

To be a victim is not shameful. It provides you with an opportunity to grow, learn and empower yourself. It can be frightening at first, to feel the power you possess, but the angels will be at your side to support you every step of the way.
