SOUL MATE

Love is a funny word that is misused a lot. ‘I love you, I love my cat, I love this hamburger!’ When we ‘fall in love’ we expect the other person we are in love with to react in a certain way to us. They should be thinking of us a lot, if they love us. They should know what to do to make us happy without us telling me. Our expectations can challenge even the best of relationships or friendships.

Loving unconditionally means no control or manipulation of another. In some ways it is a detachment from any outcome. It is being in the moment. It is enjoying the varying aspects of another person. Perhaps it is another way to say true love. I heard this recently, “True love is the soul’s recognition of its counterpart in another.”

When you find this in another, you have found a soul mate. If you are open and able to see beyond the physical realm, you can be blessed to find many soul mates in your life time.

Some soul mates may become the very best of friends with no romantic or sexual energy exchanged. Another may become a romantic partner with whom you connect on a vibration that raises you both beyond the heavy energies of this world.

Enjoy the experiences as they are presented to you. Love with a depth like the angels have for humans….like the Divine has for humans. Connect to another person’s soul. No expectations, simply joy in the other person. If you do not have this for your close friends and romantic partner…simply move on and allow yourself and them to find that in another.

Life is meant to be enjoyed as we all journey together. Breathe deep, laugh much and dance with joy!
