WORLD'S AIDS DAY LOVE

Last night I thought I was going to an educational meeting about AIDS. I figured it would be a boring talk and I wasn't too happy to attend. However, I wanted to show my support to my beautiful POD people and to the hope that one day love and healing will surround the awfulness of AIDS.

Instead, I was sat in the pew of Hope Church of Christ being ministered to. Not only by the wonderful people (The Ultra Lounge, Project Response and Family of God Community Church, Hope Church of Christ, and The New Way "POD") who put on the program and the love that filled the room, but also by the spirits of all those that were being honored that night! I was also thrilled that a 'traditional' Church was opening up to Divine Unconditional Love.(no judgments)

The lighting of candles, thinking of the person on the other side and saying their names gives them strength and spiritual healing. They are not dead, just not in our dimension anymore. They filled the building with smiles and laughter.

My dear friend, Raven was there and so happy. He told me many things. He asked to be one of my guides to make my Mediumship gifts stronger. I was honored and he was thrilled to be able to be working with me again. Raven has balanced energy and worked with Anael when he was here in his fleshly body. He says now he is one of her ‘worker bees’ on the other side. Lol! He has a quirky sense of humor!

Remember…you never know how far reaching your efforts will go in impacting the lives of many people. Those who worked tirelessly to put together this service of honoring and remembering may never know how deeply many were affected last night.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart! May the energy of your efforts return to you a thousand fold in love, peace, healing and prosperity!

SWIM FREE!

A story was shared today at The New Way. The story goes like this….

A lady decided to clean the water in the fishbowl. She took her fish and put them in a bathtub filled with good water.

When the fishbowl was cleaned, she went to retrieve her fish. She was surprised to see them swimming in the same small circle as if they were still in the bowl. With the whole bathtub in which to swim they decided to stay within their own boundaries. They didn’t take the advantage to enjoy the new space.

This gives us much to think about. How many times are we offered new opportunities in our lives, but we choose to swim in the small circles that we have been used to?

Take some time and look at the oceans of possibilities in front of you. Allow yourself to change your pattern of thinking so you can swim free!

YOU ARE THE CHANGE THE WORLD NEEDS

We need to BECOME the change we want in the world. I know you have heard that before, but how is a good way to put that in action?

One thing we can do to facilitate that change is to begin a movement of positive energy, so the rest of the world will feel it. That means when we feel sad, we must not speak sad words. Speaking happy words creates happiness.

Reverend Suzan Bailey during her talk at The New Way gathering today said, “The way we perpetuate consciousness of the world is by how we think. We should always consider if the thoughts we are thinking come from a space of love.”

When we speak our thoughts, we begin to send out the energy of those thoughts into the world. For example, when you want to ‘vent’ to someone to let off steam, stop yourself. Translate the words in your head to ones of positivity. See the opposite of what you want to complain about and say the good words instead.

This is one simple thing that you can do that runs deep. It is a powerful vehicle to change the energy of the world, therefore yourself and those around you.

Another thing is to honor and respect your Temple (physical body). Rest when you need to, draw boundaries, eat what is good for you and get the proper amount of exercise.

Also, take time to listen to what spirit has to tell you…Meditate daily (even 5 minutes is better than nothing). Learn to do Mindful Meditation…this is powerful. (Tomorrow’s blog)
