Peeling the Layers to Heal

Constantly you peel the layers of sludge from your skin. Sometimes you must go so deep to pull a layer of skin with it. The sludge has been there so long that it has become embedded in your skin, so you have no choice but to take the skin in order to remove the dirt.

This sludge comes from past patterns of thinking. When you let go of past relationships, you also had to deal with removing the past patterns. Not to do so would cause you to repeat the pattern. You have grown weary of repeating the past. Everyone you have met has drawn you in and taken advantage of you, even though consciously you did not want this.

However, these patterns were still there and with every similar choice you made, you put on another layer. You accepted the feeling that you must have a romantic physical relationship. For the world believes that is what defines you or completes you. In your heart you know that is not true, but to really feel it….well that is a different matter.

So now is the time of peeling the layers away to get to the new fresh skin. Doing it slowly would be less painful, like using a loofa. But you have no time. The sense of urgency runs deep. So with every tool known to you, you begin to cleanse, scrub and peel the layers. Sometimes it hurts so much that you cry out in pain! But you pause only to catch your breath.

You create a distance between you and those people that do not understand. For you are raw and vulnerable. Your true friends hold you gently when you cry and send healing energies into your sensitive skin. There are times that your physical friends cannot be present. That is when you feel the comforting wings of Archangel Anael surround and support you. The old skin, finally peeled away, is put in a bonfire where your friends drum and dance with you in a celebration of joy and release.

New skin begins to grow in the place of the old skin. It is different now. This skin is translucent, thin but with the hardness of the most exceptional diamond. You watch entranced as your new skin encompasses your entire body. The energy of Archangel Anael surges through you giving you an inner light. You know that no one can hurt you now and only positive people will be drawn to you.

This new skin feels different. Your attitude about life is different. Your life is different.
To be alone and complete…this is an interesting experience.

I wrote this a few years ago, as I was going through my last major shift of energies. What I did prepared me to be in a healthy relationship. I now understand the feeling of true unconditional love. This has overflowed into all my relationships. I have amazing friends!!!

Without the pain of release, clearing and healing, it would not be possible. Without the support of true friends it would not be possible. Most of all, without the guidance and support of Archangel Anael my new life would never have evolved.

This is my mission…the mission of Archangel Anael…to give tools to those who are ready to bring in angelic peace, hope and unconditional love into their lives. We are beginning to put together correspondence courses to assist with this, as well as taking the message in the form of the Angel Infusion Workshop across the globe.

The following is an excerpt from Dragons Legacy that covers this subject: (Maalock is the ‘Dragon of War’…shape shifter that battles evil dragons to protect humans. Karant is the prince of the Elves and Chimeron is a king needing Maalock’s help for his subjects.)

Maalock turned and picked up a couple of bundles that were lying on top of his sheathed sword. He held them out to Chimeron and Karant respectively. Taking the bundles, they unfolded them, seeing they were garments made of black-onyx hide.

Chimeron asked curiously, “What are these made of?”

Karant looked sharply at Maalock noticing his hide being of a lighter hue than normal.

“Yes, you surmise correctly Karant,” Maalock stated firmly. “I thought you both needed some dragon hide to cover your fragile skin. I will grow more. Already due to my return through the astral plane and spending most of the night there, my skin is almost recovered.”

Karant, the first to understand the significance of the gift, gasped out, “Maalock, what an honor. I thank you from the depths of my heart. Here, in return, I gift you my knife that my father gave to me. It is crafted of elfin steel and it will never wear out.”

Maalock accepted the gift graciously, looking a bit uncomfortable as Karant added, “Chimeron, I need to tell you what it means for a dragon to shed his skin on a full moon. Maalock will not tell you, as he is a humble being.”

“No, Karant,” Maalock tried to interrupt.

“No, Maalock, he needs to know if he is to learn of dragons,” Karant continued firmly. “As you may have figured out, on a full moon dragons are practically indestructible. The only thing that can pierce their thick armor-like hide is their own claw.
Shedding of skin is a symbolic way of changing and growing and it happens naturally for dragons every seven years. This comes at a time when the dragon is ready to grow physically as well as mentally.
When a dragon purposely sheds his skin as Maalock did, he is accepting the fact that a new way of life is upon him. He is opening his heart to the Creator to have it cleansed and strengthened for the new journey of life ahead. It is said that forcing the shedding of skin during a full moon is excruciatingly painful.
It is a great sacrifice for the dragon. For at least twelve hours after the shedding of skin, the dragon is very vulnerable while he grows new skin. Fortunately, Maalock’s time in the healing astral plane, even in human form, has sped that process up for him.
Because of the great sacrifice, the skin he shed retains the same indestructibility of a dragon on a full moon. Since it is done in love for the good of all, the skin is also blessed with prosperity for the one it is gifted to,” Karant finished with his eyes on Chimeron’s awe filled face.
