HONORING YOUR TEMPLE

Sometimes we need to stop and just take some time for ourselves. I try to take a day a week to do this, but don’t always manage it. Monday’s are normally my days for this.

I usually drive to the Beach to see Karen Walsh and she does a lymphatic facial on me. This is not really a facial, but benefits like one…and beyond. Along with the Spiritual work I do, this weekly practice (going on 15 weeks now) is taking me back in time. It clears the lymphatic system in my face and neck, so is healthy and makes me look younger.

The other day, she added the Ionic foot de-tox. It is a medical grade and she knows her stuff. I could feel the energy in my feet during the process and a positive shift in my body afterwards

REARRANGING FURNITURE

It is great to get a facial from a true healer. When I went for my weekly Lymphatic Facial, Karen immediately picked up on some chakras that needed balancing.

Like most of you, I have been clearing old patterns and belief systems out of my life. Sometimes it is helpful to have another energy worker assist at bringing things into balance.

It is like when you rearrange the furniture in your house. You move the furniture around, dust and sweep around and under everything. Then you need to place the furniture in the best place possible. Sometimes the furniture is heavy and it helps to have an extra hand to move it. However, this has to be a person that you trust in your home and with your furniture.

Karen Walsh provided that extra hand for me today. I trust her. She is ‘good people’. She assists without judgment, as she remains in a supportive place of unconditional love. She may suggest that a certain piece of furniture will look better in a different place than I intended. However, she doesn’t care if I don’t follow her advice.

She incorporated Reiki and Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping). I love it when therapists have many tools in their tool box! I released, shed some tears and brought in white light for healing.

The skin on my face feels like silk and my spirit is full of love and joy! Life is good and I have much to be thankful for!

CARING FOR YOUR TEMPLE

Yesterday I decided to take advantage of having Karen Walsh, CEMT, RT, in our community. Actually, I decided to pamper me and wanted Karen to be the one to do it! Lol!

Being all Diva-like, I have been unhappy with some lines and saggy skin that have slowly crept across my face.

Karen assured me that her LYMPHATIC FACIAL would rejuvenate the skin as it stimulates the lymphatic system and increases skin elasticity. It certainly sounded better than more invasive procedures. I may have tattoos, but the thought of needles in my face isn’t pleasant!

Though we are spiritual being in physical bodies, we still reside in the body. My mother is a very classy lady. Even in her 70’s, when she walks into a room, heads turn. She pays no attention to this, just continues in her ministry of love. She taught me to take care of myself. She taught me to check to make sure I looked my best before I left the house, and then forget about myself. She is a wonderful teacher.

So I took 30 minutes out of my day with Karen while she did her magic on my face. Since Karen has a medical background, she instructed while giving the facial. It was very helpful. She even took the time after the facial to refresh me on the healthful benefits of dry brushing, since I inquired about it.

On a side note….this is very healing as well as helping the appearance. As the lymphatic is stimulated, I noticed the draining last night and this morning. I honored the lack of energy that was evident due to this, by going to bed early. Today I will continue to drink a lot of pure water and take it easy.

As the holidays approach we can let our lives get caught in the whirlwind of energy around us and forget to anchor ourselves. One way I will ground myself is to honor and respect my Divine Temple in this way.
