A Home for the Divine

Some spiritual traditions teach that the body and physical world are not important.

The stress is on the soul and communion with the Divine in whatever form it takes.

Your body could not exist if not for the tiny spark of the Divine that resides within it.

Think of your body as a house, mansion or temple. If you were having an important guest staying over, would you not keep it clean and clutter free? Would you make scheduled repairs on time?

This is not about fat or skinny shaming. It is about feeling healthy and peaceful. Healthy bodies come in different shapes and sizes. It is up to you to decide how you want to care for your Divine temple.

If you ask your Angels for help, they will guide you to the food and exercise program that is perfect for you.

Time to get ready! Company's here!

Cleaning Your Spiritual House

Don't think that you have failed spiritually when you encounter a roadblock or negative event or person. Sometimes when you clean a spot in your house, it looks so good it makes the rest of the house seem dirty. It is, simply, a sign that you are making progress. Keep at it and don't give up. Continue your work every day and your house (spirit) will soon shine like a sacred temple.

Your spiritual path is a journey. Every event, person, or feeling that you have is part of that journey and acts as a polishing cloth that makes parts of you you never knew existed, shine.

Happy Holidays at the Temple

At this time of year, society tells us we must rush and be in a hurry to accomplish many things, yet our bodies tell us that it's time to slow down. Do not feel guilty if you lag behind. Your body is in tune with nature and the season. Do what you must to prepare for the holidays, but also remember to take some time to slow down, rest, nap or pamper yourself. Your body-temple deserves a Happy Holiday too.

HONORING YOUR TEMPLE

Sometimes we need to stop and just take some time for ourselves. I try to take a day a week to do this, but don’t always manage it. Monday’s are normally my days for this.

I usually drive to the Beach to see Karen Walsh and she does a lymphatic facial on me. This is not really a facial, but benefits like one…and beyond. Along with the Spiritual work I do, this weekly practice (going on 15 weeks now) is taking me back in time. It clears the lymphatic system in my face and neck, so is healthy and makes me look younger.

The other day, she added the Ionic foot de-tox. It is a medical grade and she knows her stuff. I could feel the energy in my feet during the process and a positive shift in my body afterwards

What is so cool about this all is that it is possible to do these things for yourself. Karen only charges $30 for the foot de-tox and the same for the facials. She also offers them in packages, so they become an affordable way to honor your temple.

During the next few weeks you will feel more of the influence of Taurus. That is for grounding and caring for yourself and home. Take some time to commit to respecting yourself by doing special things for your temple.

CARING FOR YOUR TEMPLE

Yesterday I decided to take advantage of having Karen Walsh, CEMT, RT, in our community. Actually, I decided to pamper me and wanted Karen to be the one to do it! Lol!

Being all Diva-like, I have been unhappy with some lines and saggy skin that have slowly crept across my face.

Karen assured me that her LYMPHATIC FACIAL would rejuvenate the skin as it stimulates the lymphatic system and increases skin elasticity. It certainly sounded better than more invasive procedures. I may have tattoos, but the thought of needles in my face isn’t pleasant!

Though we are spiritual being in physical bodies, we still reside in the body. My mother is a very classy lady. Even in her 70’s, when she walks into a room, heads turn. She pays no attention to this, just continues in her ministry of love. She taught me to take care of myself. She taught me to check to make sure I looked my best before I left the house, and then forget about myself. She is a wonderful teacher.

So I took 30 minutes out of my day with Karen while she did her magic on my face. Since Karen has a medical background, she instructed while giving the facial. It was very helpful. She even took the time after the facial to refresh me on the healthful benefits of dry brushing, since I inquired about it.

I noticed an immediate change in the appearance and texture of my facial skin. She recommends 10 consecutive weekly treatments for maximum benefit. Knowing the importance of I jumped on her introductory special.

Normally it is $30 for 30 minutes, though you can purchase a package deal for 10/30 minute session for $270. However, right now she is offering a limited time special for an additional $30 off the regular package price! Call her at 321-890-5556. Her office is 320 N. Atlantic Ave. 2-A, Cocoa Beach.

On a side note….this is very healing as well as helping the appearance. As the lymphatic is stimulated, I noticed the draining last night and this morning. I honored the lack of energy that was evident due to this, by going to bed early. Today I will continue to drink a lot of pure water and take it easy.

I took before pics and will take after pics…after the 10 week session is concluded. Stay tuned for weekly reports, as I expect this to do more than rejuvenate my facial skin. All that we do to our bodies (our Divine Temples) is reflected in our spirits and minds. Mind/ Body/Spirit.

As the holidays approach we can let our lives get caught in the whirlwind of energy around us and forget to anchor ourselves. One way I will ground myself is to honor and respect my Divine Temple in this way.

TUNE IN TO YOUR BODY

DAY NINE: Tune in to your Body

I spent the morning working at home, and then had a lovely afternoon with my boyfriend. We went to see the Clash of the Titans, then to the mall.

I really wanted to go to the Gallery Walk at Cocoa Village later in the evening. I wanted to see my friends, meet new people and have fun.

However, every time I thought about going, my stomach began to hurt.
Each time it happened, I thought, “I must stay home and relax. There is no need to push myself.”
Within five minutes, I felt better.

Then I thought, “I feel great, perhaps I will go to the Gallery Walk after all! Other people have the energy to run around during the day and then run at night too.” Again, within five minutes my stomach began to hurt again!

After this re-occurred a half a dozen times, I got the message. (I know I am a slow…or stubborn…learner! Lol!) I decided to stay home, watch movies and relax.

The stomach pains are gone, but I got the message.

Archangel Anael was firm about this: “Listen the first time to your body. Be in tune with it. It is your temple. If you are running around constantly, you are wearing it out. Treat it with honor and respect and learn the balance for YOU…not what is the balance for someone else.”

Anael’s Affirmation of the Day: “I listen to my body and do what is best for it, for it is a Divine temple.”

KEEP BALANCE

DAY SIX: Keep Balance

Today was very busy and hectic. I had to consciously remind myself to draw Anael’s symbol on my food and around me as I needed peace. In the rushing around I forgot to eat until I was reminded by feeling weak and fuzzy brained…more than my usual ‘head with the angels’! LOL!

I was doing the mind and spirit part of Anael’s plan, but had gotten derailed on the body part. When I got him, I ate some protein and juiced vegetables. Soon I was back on track.

However, I had learned a valuable lesson. Stay focused on balance in all aspects of life.

Anael’s Affirmation of the Day: “When you fuel your temple (body) throughout the day, you allow yourself to be used by the Divine in a perfect way.”
