RISING SUN EMPORIUM

Florida is such an awesome place to live, especially in the fall and winter. I am writing this while sitting on the open porch of Rising Sun Emporium, 501 Florida Ave, in Historic Cocoa Village.

The building was first built in 1888 making it the oldest wooden building in Cocoa Village. Sean Roberts poured his heart and soul into restoring it to its original grandeur. When I entered the structure for the first time, the spirits associated with building let me know how happy they were with what he had done with the place.

Delorse Kopitas took over the place in the spring of this year. Her plans for the store to be a gathering place for parties, healing and support for women is now finally beginning to come to fruition. She had set aside her own dreams to help support and sell Nature’s Spirit in Doreen’s terrible time of loss. As someone else has come to fill that gap, Delorse is now free to spread her wings and fly.

She is open to people who have healing products, boutique items, spiritual statuary, etc., to sell on consignment. This is a great way for you to showcase your products to the public. With the holiday season upon us, this is a win/win situation. You can make some extra cash and give others the opportunity to purchase your particular items.

Her beautiful porch with ceiling fans to stir the Florida breezes makes the perfect location to rent for your next gathering or party with friends and family. The store can easily be shifted to accommodate your workshop or class when you need a peaceful, healing atmosphere.

So stop by and hang out on the porch with me some day. I often bring my lap top as I work on completing Angel Whispers.

Call Delorse at 321-806-8741 to chat with her about renting the space or bringing in your products for consignment.
