Breathing Tip to Balance Chakras

To begin, visualize a pyramid of protective Light around you while beginning to breathe deep and slow. Then imagine the colors of a rainbow. My dad taught us to remember the order of the colors of the rainbow by: Roy G. Biv.

Just remember ‘Roy’s’ name and begin at the base of your spine with Red. Then continue up your spine. Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet (White).

Hold your hands over each Chakra, visualizing a flower of the corresponding color opening slightly. Each Chakra has physical organs and emotions attached to it, so don’t be surprised to feel differing emotions. Breathe deep and slow over each while visualizing.

Then imagine the colored flower closing slightly. When that feels right to you move on to the next Chakra. After reaching the top of your head and finishing that Chakra, then put your hands in your lap making the shape of a pyramid with your fingers. Take a deep breath feeling the energy go down your legs and feet into the bottom of your pyramid and come back to awareness.

There are more detailed ways to balance and heal the Chakras in meditation. I will be completing a new CD for that soon. We also work on them in my classes.

Furthermore, the colors of the Chakras are changing. I incorporate that in some of my classes, too.

Enjoy the Rainbow!
