CHANGING BELIEF SYSTEMS

I watched American History X last night. It wasn’t a feel good movie. No fluffy bunny feelings here.

It was a wonderful example of how many times it takes a dramatic occurrence in a person’s life to change their belief systems and thought patterns. It took going to jail for the main character to begin to let go of his prejudice convictions.

We are in a time of needing to drop the way we think about certain beliefs that have affected our lives in a negative way. It is not easy to make these shifts. Many of you have gone through some dramatic changes in jobs and relationships that have shaken you up.

Take this opportunity to see these situations as good things. Look deep inside yourself and see what you need to do to make positive changes in your ways of thinking. This will help you create positive, uplifting relationships .It will help you replace a life of drama and stress with one of joy and peace.
